Generally when we talk about sweat equity we are talking about the work you put into a home to increase it’s value. In this case, I am talking about the work you put into your life to increase wealth or to at the very least make ends meet!
When we first moved here we shoveled all this by hand every single time it snowed.
We could have paid someone to do it but we put the sweat in, to save money and make ends meet. It was probably five years after we moved to this house that we bought a used snow blower which we cared for and maintained for years. We did finally sell that and buy a new one which was much bigger. And still, at the end of the day we are not paying out to have someone else clear our driveway!
The point is by your own hard work, for each project you can save money. It’s hard, it takes a long time but trust me, I will always scrimp and save for what I want OR do without rather than go into debt!!
